Key Outputs

Management of the total patient administration function (includes billing, debt collection, tariffs and tariff structures, Dr liaison etc.).
Liaison with Funders.
Preparation of statistics and month end reports as required by Hospital Management and Head Office.
Responsibilities would include the day-to-day management of administrative and financial functions.
Management and training of personnel.
Preparation of budgets.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.



Grade 12 with a minimum of 5 years debtors experience / a tertiary qualification with debtors / financial experience.
At least three years experience in a managerial or supervisory position.
Excellent leadership qualities.
Previous medical aid/managed health experience will be a recommendation.
Background knowledge of the hospital/healthcare industry will be a recommendation.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to function independently.
Computer literacy is essential, with excellent knowledge of Excel.
Knowledge of COID and Medical Aids.
Experience and insight in the total Patient Administration Management environment.
