The Receptionist/Office Administrator will be responsible for:
Receiving and assisting Visitors, Clients and Delivery personnel
Handling Access control duties and record all access to premises
Receiving and directing calls, taking and relaying messages
Ensure a safe and spotless receiving area at all times
Handle related administrative duties
Keep record of visitor access
Receiving and distributing mail and deliveries
Ensure maintenance of all equipment in the front office
Keep Manager updated on events
Handle overflow typing and administrative duties as requested by operational Manager
Report faulty switchboard lines immediately
Keep record of messages and follow up with related staff members


Experience:
3 years or more experience in a similar role
Experience handling busy switchboard
Customer Service experience


Qualifications:
Matric with English Language
Customer Service Training/Diploma


Skills:
Customer Service Attitude
Accurate Typing
Ability to work in MS Office, Outlook and MS Word
High Attention to Detail
Organized and able to plan ahead
Friendly manner in dealing with people at all levels

    I am a Travel & Tourism level 4 (NCV) graduate with great knowledge in customer care and human relations, I have been well equipped with the knowledge of the duties need to be performed by a receptionist and believe I can carry out the responsibility needed to be done in the work field as I am proficient in the use of computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and MS Outlook and similar computer programs. I am as well knowledged on how to deal with client for different backgrounds e.g. cultural ethnic groups, disability, nationality origins and ext, as well on how to handle situations or problems effectively and professionally. Through my studies I have as well gain the ability to work in different large groups and have learnt to be very flexible on changes of surroundings and activities. I am as well knowledged on different filing methods and how to stay presentable and well groomed for the clients as an employee representative of the company, I believe I would be a much suitable candidate for this position as I am very reliable and would be of great impact of my potential role of employment, and would love to be part of a prestigious company like yours.
