Duties and Requirements:
Repair equipment, strip when required, compile a list of requirements and cost estimates
For repair and new jobs, prepare time, cost, material and labour estimates
consult with employees in other departments to discuss and formulate final estimates
Prepare estimates for use by Sub-contractors.
Confer with engineers, Sales reps and sub-contractors on changes and adjustments to cost amendments
based on estimates do planning, organizing and scheduling of work
Prepare cost and other necessary documentation as required in order to do cost monitoring and reporting.
Keep filing system for these records up to date
Conduct evaluations to develop standard rate data an determine possible cost reductions.
Communicate job status to management and internal customers
Able to read Mechanical Drawings
1-3 years experience in a related role
