The role of the Driver is to deliver stock to customers and branches. This individual will ultimately be responsible for the company vehicle and its upkeep. Duties and KPA’s herewith include:
Driving the company vehicle for deliveries
Inspecting and maintaining vehicles
Assisting branch Controller in the warehouse
Representing the company in interactions with third parties
Adhering to safe working procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES RELATING TO KEY PERFORMANCE AREA
Delivering a wide variety of items
Following driving routes and time schedules
Loading, offloading, preparing and inspecting items for delivery
Operating company vehicles
Adhering to traffic rules and regulations Inspecting vehicles (including trailers) daily and reporting any faults or problems to management
Assisting with off-loading of containers (when required)Assisting with stock taking
Assisting with packing of Cashbuild orders (when required)
Engaging with customers politely whilst representing the values of the company at all times
Report any problems to management, using panic button as required
Ensuring the safe keeping of stock and vehicles
Adhering to company rules and regulations even when on the road or at a customer
Perform any other work-related duties of a similar nature that may be assigned to you from time-to-time

EDUCATION LEVEL
Matric (mathematics preferable)
Code 8 Driver’s License
