The main duties of this position are to:

– Prepare purchase orders and related documents for payment for goods and services as per applicable policy and procedures
– Make travel, accommodation and other arrangements as per applicable policy and procedures
– Develop, implement and maintain appropriate administrative and document management systems for the smooth running of special projects
– Keep an accurate and up-to-date list of stakeholders on the SAQA Stakeholder Contact Database
Manage the storage of promotional and reading material
– Assist in ensuring that the procured publications and other promotional material are received, quality checked, and stored as required
– Arrange and ensure proper storage of reading and promotional material
– Assist with administrative and logistics support to the Directorate as directed
Manage the distribution of promotional and reading material
– Ensure the distribution of promotional and reading material to stakeholders as per plan
– Ensure that promotional material, publications, branding and collateral reach events and exhibitions on time
– Keep an accurate and up-to-date record of distribution lists


Requirements are:

Eligible candidates will have a qualification at NQF level 5 or equivalent in business, administration, public section supply chain requirements, marketing and communication with two years working experience in a business, administration, marketing communication, finance or similar environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to organise and coordinate office administration, clerical skills, time management, problem solving skills, prioritising, self motivation and the ability to cope with pressure should be among the strengths of those aspiring for appointment.
